Volunteer Your Time - We are always in the need of physical help.
There are recurring chores and occasional chores.
RECURRING CHORES:
Feeding/watering all animals (inside
& out) (done properly could be a 2-hour job)
Cleaning cages, sand boxes, utensils
Mopping floors
Washing Bedding
Assembling adoption packets
OCCASIONAL CHORES:
Mowing Grass (Riding lawnmower for
large areas; Electric for the smaller areas), Trimming/edging
Cleaning dog compounds
Hooking up tarps for shade
Blocking holes in fence/re-enforcing fencing
Constructing new fencing (just cross-sectioning)
Minor repairs (e.g. mount cordless door bell where visitors can reach it without going into the dog
area)
DIRECTLY WORKING WITH THE ANIMALS:
Bathing, combing
Vaccinations (under our guidance, of
course)
Leash training
Giving LOTS of love and affection
There is more…lots, lots, more.
